The 1955 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin set contains 22 coins. The Sets included two exampls each of the cent, nickel, dime, quarter and half dollars struck at the Philadelphia Mint; two examples each of the cent, nickel, dime, and quarter struck at the Denver Mint; and two examples each of the cent and dime struck at the San Francisco Mint. The 1955 packaging of the mint set consisted of three cardboard holders with paper flaps. The mintage for the 1955 coin set was 49,656 units.
