Description
The 1949 United States Mint Uncirculated coin set contains 28 coins. The year’s coins included two examples each of the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, and Washington Quarter and Franklin Half Dollar from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, as well as the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime and Franklin Half Dollar from the San Francisco Mint. Packaging consisted of three cardboard holders, which displayed only one side of the coins. The mintage for the 1949 coin set was 5,000 units.
